The Lebanese Uprising: First Diaspora Fund
Donation protected
Fellow Lebanese abroad,
Many of us wish to be in Lebanon supporting the protests in person but for one reason or another we can’t make it.
We can, however, keep them going from abroad.
This fundraiser is to offer them water, food, snacks, masks, medical attention, whatever they deem necessary to keep themselves going.
Abroad, we are protesting on our own in support of them. This, however, will be our direct contribution to the protests taking place in Lebanon.
We have volunteers in Lebanon from Sour to Trablos and all major cities in between.
A simple $20 donation could give water to 60 protestors or feed 5 of them.
The fund limit will be increasing progressively according to the scale of funds we receive.
If anybody would like their names mentioned in the protests, volunteers agreed to either write them down or print them.
I will be posting pictures on Twitter under #LebDiasporaProtests and #LebDiasporaFunds as @Zzeghedrane
Thank you and may the people be victorious.
