Where are we going? Townsville, QLD Australia

How far away is that? 16 HOURS by car and 1,400k’s later!!

How many kids are going? 15

How many support staff? 5 – Coach, League Safe x 2, Manager, First Aid Officer

How much $$ do we need? $20,000


A little bit about these kids…

Our Under 10 Sharkies eat, sleep and breath Rugby League!

This experienced little team from Parkwood Sharks in the Gold Coast has been playing Rugby League together since U6’s.

They play once a week and train twice a week from January – September every year.

Here at the Sharks, not only do we have some extremely dedicated kids, but our support staff and parents within this little team are also just as dedicated.

So we’ve decided to enter our 2020 U10’s team in to the Gordon Tallis Cup in Townsville. Where 65 U10’s teams from all around Queensland go to compete in this competition to see who will take home the cup.

We know we can put Parkwood Sharks on the map. But we need your help to get there..

What costs do we need to cover?

We have a heap of fundraising planned over the next 8 months leading up to the competition but here are some of things we need to cover the cost for.

Team Transport by bus or flights from Gold Coast to Townsville
Team transport within Townsville for 5 days
Meals
Accommodation in Townsville to accommodate us all for 4 nights
Competition registration
Cost per person approx. $1,050
First Aid Officer Course
