1st Ladies European Tour event for Faye Wheatley

Hi, my name is Steven McDonnell... I am a PGA Golf Coach working with 16-year-old Faye Wheatley, the 25th Faldo Series Europe Grand Final winner in 2021.

Faye has a busy competition schedule for the year ahead and was recently invited to play in her first-ever Ladies European Tour event by Sir Nick Faldo. The event is taking place at Naxhelet Golf Club in Belgium from 27-29th May 2022.

The Belgian Open is a fantastic opportunity for Faye to compete alongside some of the best players on tour, including legends such as Dame Laura Davies (45 European Tour wins) and Trish Johnson (19 European Tour wins). She will gain invaluable experience and will undoubtedly be inspired by what the future may hold as she begins her journey toward a career in senior professional golf.

Any funds raised via this page will help cover:

travel expenses from Newcastle to Belgium, plus transfers to and from the golf venue to her accommodation
accommodation costs for Faye and her guardian from 24-30th May
the services of an experienced and knowledgeable local caddy to advise on course management
