Community Studio For Future Success

Hello, my name is Lance Sampson, professionally known as Aquakultre. I am a certified Plumber, and also am an artist who has organized a few community fundraisers in my days to help with shelter, instruments for youth, and also help Youth get engaged in film & music.

Today I am asking the community to help with something I have been striving to start forever, and I have finally been giving the oppurtunity to. What I should Say is a space finally came up, and am fortunate to have found something that isn't absolutely so expensive.

I am asking the community with financial assistance to help get a community studio, jam / rehersal space, and art space off the ground to help with rent ($650 a month) , supplies (desk for artist, acoustic panels, lighting, paint, studio equipment, etc).

This is a 14x30 foot space that I am hoping to get bands and artists into sharing with eachother and keeping clean, and contributing to making it a space we can all enjoy and be happy with. I am starting this GoFundMe to help with the first 3 months of rent, so I can focus on building and costuming it the way we want.

How I invision this is kind of like Radstorm in Halifax, Bands and Artists split the rental cost evenly, and invest in the space evenly, and develop a calabder system where we go into and book the space when we need it. And just create a spot where we hang, make music, rehearse, do our art, mix and master, experiment and grow as a community.
