Welcome to Cindy's Go Fund Me site. Cindy has been battling brain cancer for almost four years. She has been through surgery, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and countless visits to the hospital. The doctors have said that she is now in a coma and does not have long to live.
Many of you have expressed a desire to give financial help. Your gifts will be going straight to Joel and will be used to buy airfare for our children to Brazil for the funeral (unless God does a miracle) AND airfare for our children and myself to return to the US for a memorial service in the Chicago area. We would also use your gift to pay for the expenses that we have had of paying for full time to care for Cindy over the last few months. Additionally, we would use these funds to pay for a trip that our family would take as a time of bereavement.
All funds raised that exceed these expenses will be donated to the ministry that Cindy helped to begin here in Brazil--Revive Our Hearts Brazil.

Dec. 18th--the Lord called Cindy back home at 5:00 am this morning. Her departure was calm and peaceful. She is now with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She can run, talk, sing, and worship! As her family, we are heart-broken because we won't be seeing her for a little while. But her life had a clear purpose--to bring glory to Jesus Christ, and she pursued this purpose with all of her heart. We have a thousand things to be thankful for, but the sense of loss still is very great. Counting on your prayers!
