Support for the Nesbitt Family
Hello everyone.
Andrea and family are coming to you with their hearts humbled. I have spoken with Andrea in depth, and I can tell that it is really taking an emotional toll on her to even think of asking for your support.
For many of you who have watched Andrea’s journey with her family over the past year, you know that it’s been a rough one. Just this year alone their son Riley had eye surgery in March, Andrea’s husband Cory was admitted to LGH with heart issues in May, their son Shea was admitted to AI DuPont in September and Andrea was just recently hospitalized for five days for symptoms that were puzzling the doctors.
Andrea’s doctors have now determined that this appears to be a severe case of mono, but the possibility exists that this could also be an autoimmune or rheumatological issue. It's going to be a long road to complete answers and recovery. Because of this, Andrea will not be able to return to work full force at all three of her jobs she was working at prior to this illness.
During this current hospital stay both Andrea and Cory have lost a great deal of money in income. All the while they’ve had to spend quite a bit in gas between transporting their kids everywhere and making hospital runs. They’ve also been affected financially due to issues with waiting on their insurance company to pay for losses after Cory was in an accident this past year, where he wasn’t even at fault. This came just after putting a great deal of money into their vehicle to pass inspection.
This has been a very trying time for Andrea and Cory, and they are thankful for any and all financial, emotional or spiritual support you can give. Please join me in supporting the Nesbitt Family.
