Trip to Dance World Cup Finals 2020

We are thrilled that pupils from ElliTe Studios have qualified for the second year in a row to represent Team England at the Dance World Cup Finals in Rome, 26 June - 4th July 2020. We will performing a children’s Ballet group, a Ballet quartet, a Pas de Deux, 2 Ballet solos and a Lyrical solo. This is an exceptional achievement as the Dance World Cup is the biggest all-genre dance competition in the world with 62 countries and a total of 20,000 competitors competing for places in the finals. Like any major sporting event, it is a huge honour to have qualified for the national team. Pupils were notified of their selection after filming and submitting various routines to an audition panel comprising some of the biggest names in the industry: Arlene Phillips, Wayne Sleep and Debbie Moore, founder of Pineapple Dance Studios. At the event dancers win World Titles, Scholarships to vocational schools, as well as TV performing opportunities. In order to take up their places, the pupils now need to raise a significant amount of money to cover expenses such as flights, accommodation, costumes and Team Kit. They will be working hard holding fundraising events over the next few months. We are also inviting donations to this page and any amount you can spare will be hugely appreciated. Thank you in advance for helping us to get these wonderful dancers to Rome. It means a lot for us to be able to offer these international performing opportunities to our little team from Yorkshire.
