My name is Casandra Lennox (I am from Chippewa Falls WI )and my sister is Rochelle Lopez. I am requesting help on her behalf, because her son, my nephew, Roman Lopez (age 11) was found dead after being reported missing on Saturday January 11th. The police are investigating his death, and are calling it suspicious. My sister was not notified of his death, as Romans father did not call her, nor give the police my sisters contact number. This shocking tragedy has shaken my sister, and our family to the core. We are asking for help financially so that we can afford to bring Roman home to Wisconsin, so that he can find his final resting place here, with his family. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and will be used to help my sister get to California, where Roman's untimely death occurred. She will need to buy airline tickets to get there, as well as, pay for the expense of transporting Roman back home, lodging, and other unforeseen costs that may occur. Please, we are asking for you to look into your hearts, and understand the helplessness of a mother in mourning, desperate to get to her son, so that she can properly say goodbye, and help him to his final resting place. No words can express the magnitude of this loss, and prayers are needed for peace, justice for Roman, and for my sister to find the strength needed to get through this terrible time. We have come to realize we have underestimated what costs of everything that we are trying to accomplish will cost. We have recently updated our goal. Thanks again for all the love and support from everyone wanting to help. ***** UPDATE***** We have just recently brought Roman a Lopez back home, In the hopes of giving Roman the proper funeral services he deserves here in Wisconsin. We are currently planning his celebration of life and funeral services along with selecting a headstone for the burial of his ashes. We are raising our goal one last time to accomplish Rochelle's final wish for her son. We want to thank everyone who has donated and shared this GoFundMe account.
