Help Nick and Danielle with medical bills

I am making this in honor of Nick and Danielle. The following description is from Danielle Armbruster's facebook with their consent. "My love, who is type 1 diabetic, is suddenly experiencing diabetic mellitus with proliferative retinopathy with mascular edema. This means he is going to go blind very soon (could be within days) if he doesn't receive care. His eye doc referred him to the ER, but they don't have a retina specialist, nor do any other hospitals anywhere as far as I can tell. ( I've been calling everyone, everywhere for hours).For now, he only has provisional medi-cal which doesn't cover the emergency care he requires. He could go blind before he's able to become approved for insurance. He needs financial assistance ASAP to help pay for the injections and surgery... Like, NOW. Our system is so skewed up. If any of you can find it in your hearts to help us pay for a doctor Monday morning (everyone is closed on weekends... ) We could save his eyes. Blindness doesn't suit fatherhood or climbing or... Anything. Anything helps! The initial visit is $239 not including any of the actual injections and/or surgeries, which could amount to thousands. I'm trying to help save him from going blind.
