Save the Stork Club

The beloved and historical STORK CLUB is at risk of permanent closure due to COVID-19 and we are sincerely asking the public to help raise enough money to survive this tragedy. Since this space is a non-corporate establishment, there are NO back up funds or safety net set to fall back on. Before this pandemic, Stork Club has thrived for OVER A CENTURY, sustaining a community-oriented space presenting and supporting local DJs as well as live bands such as; Green Day, Idiot Flesh, PRG, New Wave’s Eve (annually at New Year’s), Elegant Trash, Rock and Roll Adventure Kids, Juicy Delight, Max Madame, Wave Graffiti, etc. The Stork Club also selflessly offers an abundance of nonprofitable benefits. Some of which include: DOG FRIENDLY VOLUNTEER WORK SUPPORTED “BUBBLE BIKE CREW” BIRTHDAY SPECIAL – PURPLE PEOPLE EATER PROVIDED FOOD FOR THE LESS FORTUNATE CURSE BUCKET- IF COMPLETELY FILLED THEN THREW A PARTY FOR CUSTOMER BASE SUPPORT MOTORCYCLE CLUBS Other conveniences to the public entail: SMOKING PATIO EVERYBODY IS WELCOME GREAT BEERS, ROCK N ROLL CHEERS PERSONABLE STAFF / OWNERS TEAM ORIENTED, INCLUSIVE, ACCOMMODATING COMFORTABLE, SAFE ENVIRONMENT INDUSTRY FAN FAVE ONE OF THE LAST REAL LOCAL DIVE BARS   The support generated by the public will allow the Stork to remain open after the Shelter In Place comes to an end. The owner, Micki, and her son Tom and his wife Laura are accommodating and personable to those in and out of the Stork and provide a safe and comfortable spot for ALL to enjoy. THE FAMILY (INCLUDING THEIR 5 CHILDREN) IS A PILLAR OF THE COMMUNITY WHO DONATE TO SCHOOLS AND CONTRIBUTE TO SOCIETY, IMPROVING QUALITY OF LIFE FOR EVERYONE.   100% OF THE FUNDS WILL BE ALLOCATED FOR OVERHEAD – RENT, INSURANCE AND KEEPING MUSIC ALIVE.
