Saving Springdale Tails
Spende geschützt
***THE MISSION NEEDS YOUR HELP***
We have been asked to help a diabetic woman that is nearly completely blind and is unable to care for the felines in her home.
After finding out that they were ill and that multiple have passed away, we went to evaluate the situation today.
There are an estimated 40-60 felines on the property. Most of them are very ill and need treatment as well as spay/neuter.
In Stevens County there are no other options for cases like this due to the fact that there is no animal control. We are so thankful to be able to help animals like the Springdale cats who otherwise would have no options.
Today we took in 8 cats and kittens that may not have made it without immediate intervention. They are currently with our friends at Animal Clinic of Spokane being evaluated and receiving treatment.
We are currently sorting out a temporary housing and treatment center while we treat the cats for their illnesses. Once treated, spayed or neutered, and vaccinated, all the cats will be placed in fitting situations for their temperaments, as the cats do range from tame to feral. Some we will be able to catch by hand once we are prepared, and others will need to be trapped.
All of the felines are being willingly signed over to us. This is not a place for speaking poorly of the property owner. We will do our very best to address the needs of all the animals on the property, as well as the property owner.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
The best way to help us save these guys is to donate to sponsor the cost of medical care, spay/neuter, core vaccines, and additional supplies we may need to care for the cats. Any size donation will go directly towards saving their lives.
If you can’t donate, please share!
As always, thank you all so much for helping us save some of the most vulnerable animals.
