Alyvia Slaton Fundraiser Part 2

I am establishing this GOFUNDME account to help Alyvia Slaton and her family.  She is a 9th grade student at Mary Persons High School in Forsyth, GA.  She was diagnosed with bone cancer (osteosarcoma) around Spring Break in the 8th grade and has since endured multiple rounds of chemo and had a total knee replacement in August.  From that surgery, she was hospitalized multiple times because her wound was not healing.  They were finally able to get things under control in November and continue with chemo.  She was on the road to recovery this month, expecting to finish her last round of chemo this week and planning to return to school once she regained her strength.   

On January 29, the family was informed doctors had found a spot on her hip and her cancer is now considered aggressive.  All this child wishes to do is to attend school, play in the band, and again spend time with her friends.  Alyvia has been faced with set-back after set-back. The cancer has been coming up at different times throughout her entire body. She has had to undergo MULTIPLE surgeries and countless hours of treatment. Alyvia has shown bravery and strength throughout all of this.
