Mailor Torres was in an tragic accident this past late Thursday night/early Friday morning while driving his work semi truck off of I-80 in Sheffield, IL. We are still uncertain about what exactly happened, but his truck flipped over in the center median where he was rushed to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. He has been in critical condition on life support since he got to the hospital, but with a heavy heart he has succumbed to his injuries due to a spinal injury that has left his neck broken and left his brain without air for too long, and was determined to be brain dead. We are asking for any help we can get to pay for Mailor’s service because Carmen will truly appreciate anything. He was a loving father and friend and truly a one of a kind person with a heart of gold. He was taken away from us way too soon at 41 years old, and we need to be there for Carmen and her family during this truly sad and heartbreaking time. Please keep them in your hearts and prayers.
