We've had so many family and friends reach out to us wanting to help so I decided to create a Go Fund Me for Lauren and Eric to help with their medical bills. We are so grateful for all the love, support and prayers we’ve been given since the beginning of this journey.

As most of you already know Lauren was healthy, preparing for Christmas and at 33 weeks pregnant her and Eric were getting ready to welcome their 3rd son on February 10.  She became ill mid December and was admitted to the hospital December 30. She spent 3 weeks in the hospital and was diagnosed with a very rare condition called opsoclonus myoclonus syndrome. They decided to deliver her early at 35 weeks so they could get started on plasmapheresis treatments. I'm happy to say she delivered a precious and healthy baby boy, Vance Gabriel on January 6. She was then released to Mercy rehab hospital and spent 6 days there learning to re-walk. Her diagnosis has been confirmed by a 2nd opinion at Wash U and a 3rd opinion at Mayo Clinic. We are currently waiting on the Mayo Clinic Doctor and the Wash U Doctor to agree on the next treatment plan. In the meantime Lauren started her physical therapy program Feb 3. Lauren's doctors cannot give her a timeline for recovery, but we are hopeful that full recovery will come.
