Helping An Angel

Hello everyone. Please allow me to introduce you to Angelique and her precious boys. Angelique is going through a divorce, I’m not going to say her divorce is any more stressful or traumatic than any divorce, because stress and trauma are stress and trauma at any level. But let me paint you her story. She married 12 years ago. Like some marriages, her spouse didn’t really show his true colors until after they were married. The first thing you should know is her husband played upon her desire to be a mother and encouraged her to stay home and raise their kids, he would love to be the financial support for them all. What he didn’t tell her, was he had an iron fist of control. He did not add her to any bank accounts, he had several, one of which he gave her a debit card to. Great right? Well no, he controlled how much money he transferred into that account, basically she was on a strict budget for her household and boys. On average he would put $100 a week in the account for groceries and needs. He kept TOTAL control of her life. Fast forward, she has not earned an income for 9 years. She no longer has the credit card and he has moved them in with his parents in another city where she has no friends or family. He sold their home and will not give her any funds until she “signs” his financial statement. AZ is a 50/50 state, but until the judge orders what he will, she can’t get out from under her husbands control. Can you help? She has zero access to any funds unless he gives it to her (which he has stated repeatedly that he won’t) She is getting help from her mother for lawyer fees, but she can’t begin to establish a home for her and her boys without outside help. There is a sense of urgency, as he has purchased several weapons since informing her he is “done”. Can you pray, donate and share? The fundraiser will end when the goal is reached or the judge makes his ruling. I know you may not know her or her boys, but I’m hoping she sees Jesus’ love through any help provided to her. Thank you
