Help Craig Autrey And Family After His Stroke
Donation protected
Craig Autrey is husband of Danielle Autrey, father of 3 (Taylor, Brent and Zoie Autrey) and a Grandfather of 1 (Zavon Autrey).
Craig had a stroke sometime on or before the 12th of February and has been in the ICU since the 12th.
Since this has happened, my mother has been by his side restlessly, the entire time, only leaving twice for a total of a few hours in the last 8 days.
My dad enjoyed fishing with his buddies and oldest son, drinking beer and scouting big bucks on his deer lease and/or front yard.
He always preferred the children to kill the bigger deer over himself, but that didn’t stop him from spending weeks in the deer woods every year. He was always in the woods any chance he had.
His absolute favorite thing to do was watch his youngest daughter Zoie play for the Sheridan YellowJackets Basketball Team. He went to every game he could, missing close to none, even the farthest away games. Sometimes they wouldn’t get home until after 1:00am; Dad never minded if it was for his kids. He also successfully coached Zoie and her team for over 5 years in youth softball, with 2 back-to-back perfect seasons.
To this day, at 50 years old, he has only applied at ONE job, that was Centria in Sheridan, AR. He was hired at 18, and is still employed at Centria to this day, 32 years strong. Never laid off, or suspended, he was a hard worker.
He was the Supervisor of Fabrications in Centria, making all kinds of specialty panels for their projects. After 30 years, it was obvious he had earned the Supervisor position that he managed so well.
My father is still in the hospital with no signs of a speedy recovery or a recovery at all, to say the least. His stroke caused internal pressure on his skull. Soon after, he was put into a medically induced coma and has yet to fully wake up or show any functions of his limbs. He is currently at Baptist ICU.
We couldn’t be happier with the staff here; they have done a great job making sure that he is as comfortable as possible.
My mother is a tough woman, she is one of a kind and I envy her for what she has done for me, my siblings, and my father. Ik her load will be too much to carry solo, and I’m hoping to use this to help with some of our struggles. We all love her to death and don’t want her to feel helpless in this dark time.
I’m using this GoFundMe Page to help share this heavy burden with my mom. I hope that you can find it in your heart to help, or share.
Thank You and God Bless.
