Help Tim And Jo Through Tim’s Treatment & Recover

As most of you would know Tim and Jo are an amazing couple, who are generous and caring. What many of you may not know the last two years have been extremely difficult for them, with Tim diagnosed with Myelodysplastic/Myloproliferative Disorder. For Tim with the support of Jo this has meant 2 .5 years of painful Bone Marrow Biopsies and more recently over the last 12 months chemotherapy every 3 weeks for 7 days at a time. This has been carried without complaint and not imposing on others. Unfortunately Tim’s condition has continued to deteriorate and he has been advised that a Bone Marrow Transplant planned for later in the year needed to be bought forward to now. So Tim and Jo have had to leave their beloved family. Animals and home in Tasmania for an extended 4+ months in Melbourne for Tim’s Bone Marrow Transplant at The Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre and then further time in recovery in Melbourne and Tasmania. This will have a significant impact not only for them emotionally but the financial burden will be immense, during this challenging and emotional journey. Knowing how cared for my many Tim and Jo are, we seek your support in making this journey much less difficult for them by at least taking away some of the financial burden and let them concentrate on focus on Tim’s long and at many times painful treatment and recovery.
