Sustain The Asylum Seekers Stuck At Border

It’s getting more difficult to sustain the legal asylum seekers stuck in Mexico due to MPP. Due to the Corona virus, Team Brownsville has asked volunteers planning come come by plane to please not come. An outbreak in the encampment would be extra disastrous. This leaves Team Brownsville with far, far fewer volunteers to help with the work. World Central Kitchen is stepping up and driving dinner across the border each night (we volunteers usually haul it in wagons). But that leaves everything else - supplies like clothes and toiletries, OTC medication, the school and its supplies, and essential interaction with empathetic Americans. We are collecting more funds to send what they need. They just asked, and we funded and sent, individual liquid soap. They now have running clean water, but not enough soap for careful hygiene. Please help us to continue, in as creative ways as we can, to help them through this crisis and beyond. As always, thank you!
