Fest On The Box

Wild World is an exciting new event to be held at The Globe Hay On Wye. The ethos of Wild World is inclusivity, bringing a diverse talented community of performing artists and practitioners together in celebration of the many approaches to self-expression. With the emphasis on each artist sharing their expert skills in a workshop environment.


The specialist areas explored include:
voice work,
singing,
songwriting,
shamanic dance,
Ecstatic dance,
Five rhythms,
Cacao ceremonies,
Specialist singing with traditions originating from the tribespeople of the Rainforest,
Yoga,
Mindfulness,
Sound Baths,
overturning,
Rapping, and
Beat Box,
Fooling and Clowning,
Storytelling,
Mime, Theatre,
Poetry,
Ukulele.


Each artist and practitioner have honed their craft over many years of practice and joyfully brings this experience and mastery to share with the community of Hay On Wye at The Globe Theatre and Gardens as part of an exciting 3-day celebration.
For a guest or family at Wild World, you get to dive deep into your own personal creative passions. Developing skills that make your heart sing. Wild World then gives the guests a wonderful array of performance styles to enjoy. Including solo singer-songwriters with ingenious lyrics and vocal skills. Dance bands with unique cultural backgrounds such as French Breton dance and music originating from the tribe's people of the Rainforest with poetry, to heighten awareness, move and inspire.

With Theatre and comedy to warm the heart and bring entertainment to the whole family. Wild World's vision is this, to bring the community together in a joyful celebration of all that it is to be a co-creative human. With the common goal of living in alignment with kindness for Mother Earth, to protect, honor and find new ways to live with nature in unity and for the good of all. Through coming together we inspire enlighten and empower each other, guided as a community to a softer way of living, listening with joy for ways in which we can serve. About us:

The Fellowship of the Trees is a fast-growing grassroots collaboration of committed people who have co-created a vision from our hearts into care for the planet. It is a manifestation from weaving together indigenous wisdom, stewardship, environmental and sacred activism along with models of regenerative culture. We emulate nature’s patterns, structures and teachings to inspire as well as facilitate solutions locally and globally.

Our way is to embrace spiritual and practical aspects of restoring, regenerating as well as protecting the natural world and ourselves, with the knowledge that we are intrinsically connected.
We aim to inspire as well as empower people to come together and reconnect with nature, and to take responsibility on a conscious level to move into a new paradigm of interbeing.

The Fellowship of the Trees is part of the movement that invites a lifestyle culture in which humanity can live in harmonious, symbiotic interrelationship with themselves, each other and this Earth that we call home.
We believe that by creating space for individuals to be of service to the natural world, we can promote their well-being whilst also creating loving, inclusive communities of activists.

As we are in a space of deep care for each other and as individuals, to guide our way through the coming months of retreat, it is to best practice to reduce the spread of the Corona Virus, keeping ourselves and families safe. As a result, we have rescheduled Wild World from 29th - 31st May 2020, to 28th - 30th May 2021. We are raising funds to smoothly ride this wave to reach the autumn when we intend to relaunch our ticket sales for Wild World 2021.

We are aiming to raise £5000 to cover immediate costs. As you know the events industry has taken the first and most dramatic hit financially being the first industry to close. We are passionate about restructuring the way the industry functions, to create more jobs for the technicians and resume business as usual. To do this we will need your support to fund the staffing costs and software required to make this possible. We will greatly appreciate donations of any size to support the fantastic Ethos and vision of Wild World. creating jobs of all kinds within the performing arts industry. The central aim being, making a difference where it counts, by planting trees so Mother Earth can breathe!
