Egg Shop Covid Relief Fund

Like many restaurants, we at Egg Shop had to close service at both our Nolita and Williamsburg locations during this Covid-19 crisis to protect the safety of our staff and our community. Doing so was an impossible decision: Egg Shop has over 40 employees who have dedicated themselves to their careers in hospitality. Across the board, layoffs have hurt our staff, many of whom live paycheck to paycheck.
We are now calling upon our regulars, families, communities, fans, and friends to help our staff in their time of need. Due to layoffs across the restaurant industry, many of our staffers are in dire need of immediate assistance and do not have the financial flexibility to wait for bureaucratic systems to see them through the next few weeks.
100% of our fundraising will go to employees of both Egg Shop locations, many of whom have been with us since we opened our Nolita doors five years ago and our Williamsburg location, which opened three years ago.
No matter how much you are able to contribute, your generosity is the only asset we can think of to call on at this time. We all truly love our jobs. Egg Shop has been a safe space to grow not only careers but our family, and at this moment we are struggling to move forward.
