Katherine Shanks Hood Medical & Memorial Expenses

On March 23, 2020 our beloved Katie unexpectedly passed away. She touched so many lives and effected so many people in a positive way. If you knew Katie you knew how she could brighten a room the moment she walked into it. Katie was friends with everyone. There were no strangers in her world, and no matter what the situation, she always knew just what to say and do. From her family and friends she will be missed tremendously and will be loved from now until the end of time. Katie passed away in San Marcos, CA after recently moving out to the west coast with her husband (Bryce Hood). As her husband, family, and friends mourn, there are a tremendous amount of decisions that are having to be made that come with any unexpected passing of a loved one. We are asking for donations to help with some of these financial burdens that you dont typically plan for when you are so young. Katie was in the hospital for 7 long days. This stay accrued thousands of dollars worth of medical bills. In addition, crematorium services are also needed. My brother is left with a huge bill and if we could help him financially at least it would be one less thing to worry about while mourning the love of his life.
