A hand up for Patrick and Levi Mallen

Hi my name is Stephanie Forrest. My friend Michael Roberts and I are making this Gofund me for our friend and coworker Patrick Mallen, and his son Levi. On Friday May 31, 2024 their lives changed dramatically. Patrick's wife, Levi's mother Laneah Mallen passed away unexpectedly. Levi resided with his mother and will soon be displaced, as their home was rented in her name. On top of the immediate financial strain as well as taking time off from work to grieve, Patrick is in the process of licensing his vehicle. He is frequently taking Uber from the KC area to St. Joseph to be with his son. He also relies on ride shares to get to work as well. We all know these expenses can add up quickly, and we would like to help them by easing the burden a little bit with the day to day costs like food, storage, moving costs, transportation and any final expenses. They are very active in the community and always giving back, and this time it is their turn for a hand up. We don't have a specific goal set, anything helps.
