NOLA VILLAGE COMMUNITY SUPPORT -COVID 19

My name is Cristiane Rosales Fajardo , I’m the founder of El Pueblo NOLA-NOLA Village. A community based organization located in New Orleans,La. I’m requesting any support to be able to better serve my community in this crisis we are all suffering due to coronavirus epidemic. My community is mostly made up of undocumented hard working people. But due to the closing of business and mostly service industry, we are seeing a large number of dyer needs. 1st mostly is the lack of food, the lack of hygiene products and the medical support for our community. Most family doesn’t own thermometer to check their daily temperature. This community doesn’t qualify for unemployed benefits or stimulus pay because of their legal status . Even though they pay into the system. In these times the needs are extreme. I fear the after affect of this and how it’s going to impact our community. We are in the epic center of this virus and we feel , alone and left out of the population. I’m asking for this donation to be able to better assist our community in creating a data base of needs and support system that will help in the months to come. Please help me reach my goal.
