On April 18 2020, our mother, Reina Martinez, lost her battle with Covid-19. She went into the ER on April 3rd, with what was presumed Covid-19 symptoms and pneumonia. A few days later her test came back positive for the virus. After 2 weeks of fighting for her life, intubated and sedated she finally succumbed to her symptoms. Reina was a devoted mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to her family. Regardless of her kids age, she always saw them as if they were her young babies. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for them. She accomplished so much in her 57 years on this earth. She raised four kids and kept them out of trouble - which I’m sure wasn’t easy. She would make friends easily with her charismatic, empathetic demeanor. Regardless of what anyone was going through, she would always listen to anything you have to say. If you needed an ear or a shoulder she was always free. Reina touched many hearts and kept many long lasting friends and will be missed by many. As you can imagine this has been a complete surprise to the family and in these hard times we ask for any donations to assist with some of the arrangements, any bit will help. We thank you all for your well wishes and your support. Reina is survived by 4 children: Doris, Danilo, Jennie, and Kevin, as well as 3 grandchildren: Sean Jr., Christian and Rachel.
