Krist Angielen Castro Guzman Family Fund
Donation protected
On May 2, 2020, Krist Angielen Castro Guzman lost her battle against COVID. She will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to have known and loved her. During her 35 precious years with us, Krist bravely faced change and adversity with steadfast poise and resolution. In this fashion, she learned to love adventure as she traveled the world with her family as my Uncle Angel, a now retired Navy Senior Chief, and Auntie Lillie worked to serve and protect our country. Being the eldest sibling to my cousins Anjo and Kayla, Krist set the bar for exceeding expectations as a life-long learner, a loyal and honest friend, and a strong and fierce nurturer. She made her parents proud when she made the decision to settle in Chicago as she pursued her dreams of becoming a nurse. She was a frontliner who treated all her patients and colleagues with respect and dignity. It was while working as a nurse that she met her beloved husband Omar and through their love, created more love through their 3 darling children Livvy Rogue- 6, Xavi Lionel- 5, and Leandro Christiano- 4 months. Family was always her first priority. Near or far, she cherished her God children, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family across the globe, and she strongly built bonds with everyone she welcomed into her circle. She was a source of light and love to everyone she encountered with her adventurous spirit, lion heart, and unquenchable thirst for life.
In the wake of her passing, she leaves behind broken hearts all over the world, especially her young children and grieving husband. In her loving memory, please consider contributing to this fund towards medical and funeral expenses, and her family's future.
