Soccer Dreams coming true for 2 brothers.

Hi, our 2 sons Brody and Levi, have made it to the West Ham United Development Camp in the UK in April 2023. 

The boys play in the Junior Premiere league here in Edinburgh North (near Elizabeth), South Australia, for the Playford Patriots.

Around five months ago, they were involved in the West Ham United soccer camp here in Adelaide, and were selected to go to the Gold Coast for the National West Ham United development camp.

Last Friday, we received confirmation that the national selectors of the West Ham Camp at the Gold Coast had chosen both Brody and Levi to be a part of the West Ham United Camp in the Uk. They will be coached by some of the best trainers and players from West Ham United and travel to Scotland and London to participate in another West Ham United club selection trial and camp.

This UK camp in April 2023 is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for both brothers. It will enable them to showcase their skills with the prospect of one day representing South Australia and Australia in the UK.

Brody, my Eldest, is an incredible Goalie for the Playford Patriots and has played soccer for over six years. He has proven himself time and time again against formidable players that he is resilient, hungry, reactive and has skills beyond his years. He is deserving of this selection, and I feel this may give him an incredible opportunity to showcase his talents to the premiere league team he is one day hoping to play for.

Levi, our youngest lad, is a centre, left and right mid-fielder. He is sharp with pass-throughs, has brilliant ball skills, thinks on his feet, is resilient, and is an intelligent player who constantly scans the field to look for the next opportunity.

They have 2 brilliant coaches at the Patriots in Andy (Under 12s) and Lou (Under 14s), and their previous coaches, Greg, Boris, and Goalkeeping coach Tops & Dan.

The total outlay for the camp is $7300 per person, for a total of $14600 for the boys and $7300 for me to supervise them on their trip. The cost includes the West Ham United UK Camp, accommodation, food and flights from Australia.

We ask for help with funding as we don't want them to miss this incredible opportunity to represent their club, and their state, in the UK.

As a family, we are doing everything we can to get our boys over there, but we need the community's help to make this happen.
