Elena Marie's Open Heart Surgery

Please consider helping our dear friends with medical expenses for their 2 month old daughter, Elena Marie.

Miss Elena Marie was born April 14, 2023, a perfect 7lb, 3oz baby girl. At just two weeks old, the doctors informed her parents, Amy and Jeremy, news that no parents wants to hear. That their baby girl had two congential hearts defects known as the atrial septal defect and the ventrical septal defect.

Miss Elena will have to undergo open heart at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital at just 4 months old.

During this time, her mom, Amy, has been unable to work due to Elena being at high risk for infections. With a long road to recovery, baby Elena will have to be monitored closely for 8 to 12 weeks after surgery not allowing Amy to go back to work until Elena is at least 6 to 9 months of age.

Anything donated will help the family with hospital expenses that insurance will not cover, the lack of income, and any other expenses that will arise while baby Elena recovers.

We are also asking for prayers that the surgery will go well and that Elena has a complete and healthy recovery.
