2 Stroke - Atlantic Challenge, 3000 miles unassisted row
Donation protected
Hi,
In December 2024, team 2Stroke will be rowing across the Atlantic Ocean in the World’s Toughest Row, racing unsupported for 3000 miles from La Gomera in the Canary Islands to English Harbour, Antigua.
Contributions will help team 2Stroke reach the start line for this amazing adventure, helping us with vital equipment and supplies, as well as helping us raise vital funds for our charities Dementia UK and Prostate Cancer UK.
During the race, both Karl and Ed will take turns on the oars, 2 hours on and 2 hours off, undertaking their 2 hour shifts for a minimum of 12 hours per day each, and never sleeping for more than 2 hours at a time. Our only contact with land will be via a satellite phone, as the race is completely unassisted. We will carry everything we need for approximately 45-80 days at sea in our Rannoch R25 rowing vessel From the dangers of 40ft waves and capsize, to Marlin strikes, salt sores and sea sickness, The World’s Toughest Row is the ultimate test of physical and mental endurance!
