2 Young hard working people lost everything in a house fire.

My name is Kristina Jackson, I am a single 39-year-old mother, and I have raised 3 children on my own. I’ve always taught them to be hard-working, helpful individuals. I have always tried to lead by example and shown my children how life is better when you work hard for what you have. I am quite proud of them all and they are ALL hard working, great kids.

My 19-year-old son is going to school and trying to finish his education, while working at his part-time job at a Catholic school, in Chesterfield, MO., and he works part time on a job building decks in this area.

His 20-year-old fiancé just started school and works full time plus at a St. Peters, MO hardware store.

They both are good, honest kids. They both work very hard on their goals.

They’ve had a few setbacks but keep on trying to succeed at their goals.

They had moved recently to attempt to save a little money, to get a nicer apartment or home to start a better life. The move was into someone else’s home.

Unfortunately, last night my son was cooking at the kitchen stove and something popped on the stove, and a fire soon took over the kitchen into the home.

My son had some burns on him but Thank God they were minor.

He will have medical bills after the ambulance ride and minimal medical care due to no insurance.

His fiancé was at work at the time and wasn’t home.

They have 2 Dogs and 3 Cats in the home.

One dog is my son’s emotional support dog, who they both adore, and she (Betty) adores them both too.

During the fire both dogs got loose, and Betty got some burns on her feet, lost her whiskers and hurt her face.

Thankfully someone found one dog (Jerry) quickly. Today someone found Betty and got her to be chip read and reunited with her owners, after a scary and painful night of running in fear for Betty.

There was no insurance on the home, and they lost a lot of belongings, money and their current home.

The 3 little cats were caught in the fire and even though he bravely tried to rescue them, they were lost in the fire. It was awful and emotionally upsetting for him to watch and not be able to help the kitties.

They are going to need help to start over and get themselves an apartment or home, and all the things they have lost.

I think it’s just too much to conquer quickly on their own.

If you can help them, please do and know it is very appreciated by us all.

If you can’t help, maybe you can share this post on your pages or say a prayer for them.

Anything you can do, will surely bring good karma to you and yours.
