Empower Deaf Kids with Cochlear Implants: Join the Legacy
Tax deductible
Listen CI Camp is a place where deaf, cochlear implant (CI) children and their families learn, connect, and grow together. Over its 25-year history, this program has supported over 5,600 campers, enabling pediatric CI recipients to achieve a life of independence in a world of listening and spoken language. As a supporter of camp, you become an active participant in shaping the future for these children. Camp is your legacy! This year marks the 25th anniversary of camp and we invite you to join the celebration with a visit to the new Camp History page
Camp provides the hope, confidence, and knowledge that lead to better educational, language, and social emotional outcomes. Through recreational activities, peer mentoring, and educational workshops, participants gain the skills needed to navigate the CI journey. Being surrounded and supported by a community of CI recipients practicing listening and spoken language helps to shape how CI children perceive their own hearing loss and the choices they and their parents make regarding mode of communication and device use. These are the choices that lead to optimal outcomes.
The need for camp is as strong as it was 25 years ago. To help meet the need for more families to attend, we are planning a 25% expansion in 2026, but first we need your help to fund the 2025 programs. Due to the medical, therapy, and often educational expenses that CI families face, campers are asked to pay only 40% of the actual cost of camp. Your donation will help support the remaining 60% of the expense. We cannot meet the current need for families to attend without your help. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to making a real difference in the lives of deaf children and their families. All donations are tax deductible.
Thank you for being a part of the Listen CI Camp legacy!
