200K in February- Ring of Kerry virtual walk
As many of you know, this time last year we lost my Mam to Sepsis. A year on I wanted to do something to celebrate and remember my incredible mother. That’s why I plan to walk 200km in 28 days which is the length of the Ring of Kerry - to raise vital funds for the U.K Sepsis trust. The money you donate will go towards education and raising awareness to help others not have to lose their loved ones so suddenly.
The Ring of Kerry means a lot to us as a family, my Mam was born and raised just a few miles from one of the starting points and many a time we as a family would drive the route.
Why 28 days you lazy bastard?
Good question, 28 days is the maximum time allowed to complete the journey and less than 2 months ago I could barely walk to the kitchen without assistance so I’m allowing for some recovery days!
I’ll be hoping to keep you all entertained along the way you can follow my journey on my Instagram @kieranmoriarty_nrg
