200KM in 2 weeks for NHS
Our names are Alfie and Jack we are 16 and 17 years old, both from Medway, Kent .We have a strong background in football and since this global pandemic, we have unfortunately not been able to carry on playing due to the situation. We have been best friends for years and have always had a passion for keeping fit. Earlier this year we joined a small group of people, devoted to helping people with their health and nutrition, we still do this daily through the use of our online structure by running FREE online home workouts for anyone to join, trying to keep people connected through these tough times. This led onto us deciding on a way to giveback to all the heroes in the NHS through doing what we love and trying to have a positive impact on peoples lives, that everyone can get behind. Another key factor for us deciding to try and raise money is, both our sets of parents are key workers and work in and around the NHS and carers. So we wanted to do our part and give back.
We will both run 200 kilometres in the space of two weeks starting as of the 23rd April 2020. This will be completed by doing 15 kilometres a day, everyday for the next 2 weeks.
Any support would be greatly appreciated. Please stay safe!
Thank you,
Alfie & Jack
