2020 Stacy Erra Benefit Ride
Tax deductible
We are the Sirens Women's Motorcycle Club of New York City. Every year we lead a benefit ride in memory of our sister,Stacy Erra. Stacy was an early Sirens member and a legendary artist who lost her battle with AIDS in 1989. At that time there was limited treatment available for anyone, and especially little thought given to women with the disease.
This year we're proud to announce that we've chosen New Alternatives for LGBTQ+ Homeless youth as the beneficiary of our October 12th ride. New Alternatives increases the self-sufficiency of LGBTQ+ homeless youth by enabling them to transition out of the shelter system to stable adult lives. They do this by providing long-term support, weekly case management, education services, life skills training, community-building recreational activities, opportunities for self-expression, and programs for HIV+ youth. Their guiding principles are those of harm reduction, youth development, and empowerment.
