2021 YAGP Finals for NCAD Dancers

What a year this has been! Our dancers have persevered through a global pandemic, lockdowns, Zoom classes, and many canceled opportunities. They have worked incredibly hard. We are so proud to announce that we have 15 dancers comprised of 3 ensembles and 7 soloists that have been invited to the Youth America Grand Prix Finals in May. At finals, our dancers will have the opportunity to train with some of the best ballet teachers in the world, be seen by international ballet schools and directors, and have a chance to earn scholarships to ballet schools all over the world. From virtual finals last year we had a student offered a short-term scholarship to the Royal Ballet School in England, and we currently have an alumnus who is dancing at English National Ballet after receiving a scholarship to their finishing school several years ago at YAGP finals. In addition to the dance benefits, it would be like giving these dancers a great big hug after this hard year.
We would love to make attending finals a reality for these dancers, but we need your help to do it! We'll be running several fundraisers over the next few weeks and any way that you can contribute is greatly appreciated!
Instead of just asking for money, the dancers want to complete Acts of Kindness as they reach funding milestones. We'll update you all on our progress and share the fun on the NCAD social media accounts, so go follow us @ncadance on Instagram to keep up on all of the fun!

$750- Take cookies to Bonsall Fire Station
$1000- Send letters, art, and DVD to Fallbrook Senior Center
$1500- Leave notes of kindness on cars in River Village
$2000- Make a meal for a family in need
$2500- Take cards and baked goods to Bonsall Sheriff
$3000- Tape coins to the sidewalk in the park
$3500- Dancers choose 1 way to help a neighbor
$4000- Dancers help people carry their groceries at Daniels
$5000- Take unused coloring books to Rady Children's Hospital
$6000- Send letters and art and Nutcracker DVD to Paradise Residential Care
$7000- Take thank you notes and cookies to Fallbrook Fire Station 1
$8000- Donate old towels to an Animal Shelter
$10,000- 1 hour team beach clean-up in Oceanside
$11,000- Dancers help people carry their groceries at Daniels
$12,000- Take thank you notes and cookies to Fallbrook Fire Station 2
$13,000-Send letters and art and Nutcracker DVD to Silvergate Retirement
$15,000- 1 hour team clean up in Bonsall
$16,000- Dancers choose 1 way to help a neighbor
$17,000- Leave notes of encouragement on cars in River Village
$18,000- Paint rocks and hide them in Live Oak Park
$19,000- Take thank you notes and cookies to Fallbrook Fire Station 5
$20,000- Perform "Become" in a Park
