Your Beijing 2022 Olympic Medalist in Bobsled

Hi, my name is Sylvia Hoffman, Team USA’s number one women’s bobsled brakewoman. After 4 years of competing as a full-time professional athlete, I have made my first Olympic team!! I am excited and grateful to say that I will be competing for Team USA on the highest athletic stage. For the past two years it’s been strange not working in the corporate world, but I have been busy… In four years I have become a World Cup gold medalist, a 7-time World Cup medalist, an international record holder, a national record holder in singles and in doubles, and an undefeated 3-time National champion. I must say that it’s an honor to be “Olympian” going into one of the biggest years of my athletic career.
I hope you’ll help further my drive to keep women’s bobsled one of the most successful teams in USA history. It takes support from people like you to help shape the future, because unlike other countries, America doesn’t send out athletes to the Games, Americans do! Meaning we are not government funded. Reaching the Olympic podium requires commitment, sacrifice, and years of training with the best coaching, equipment and facilities. I became the number one brakewoman in a matter of two years, and plan to be a bobsled pilot after this season. With your help, imagine what I can do with USA Women’s bobsled over the next four years. This is what you will be helping with --> Example breakdown of 2 weeks on lower circuit <--
