Invest In Our Festival to Celebrate Black Creators

My name is Jordan Lee and I am the founder of the annual collaborative event A Celebration of Black Excellence (ACOBE) Festival!
The Co-Creative Director, Devereaux Nash, the ACOBE Creative Collectors, and I would like to invite you to our festival of LOVE where all souls have a safe space to celebrate the beauty of Blackness through cultural arts and education!
We are a team of educators that believe that learning and understanding love is a life-long experience and we are all students on this journey. We aim to transform fixed mindsets through the expression of kindness and the celebration of various cultures and perspectives.
Last year, The ACOBE Festival will be displayed as a virtual collaborative conference that serves the purpose to provide a space for all people to participate in celebrating black music, art, and culture –past, present, and future. This festival of love will provide an opportunity for our community to unite in the celebration of culture that spans multiple mediums, genres, and continents.
The 2021 ACOBE Fest: Virtual Experience partnered with various creators to illuminate the excellence in: black own businesses, education, visual art, performance art, cultural diaspora arts, literature, and wellness through mainstage acts, engaging sessions, networking opportunities, and much more.
The 2022 ACOBE Fest will be live and in person! More updates coming soon!
Our Goals
Over the last three years, we have aimed to facilitate the ACOBE Festival as a non-profit entity organization dedicated to philanthropy and restorative social justice through the celebration and networking of Black Excellence! We are making substantial efforts to reach our goal of activating our organization as an integral part of the community and stand on our own as a 501-c3.
*** All money raised will go directly toward the 2021 ACOBE Fest: Virtual Experience and the formation of the ACOBE Festival as a non-profit entity!**
About the ACOBE Festival Experience
ACOBE gathers creative content from members of the Black community, our allies, and supporters to create a collage of unity. We encourage participants to illuminate the beauty of Black life, and in doing so to explore their own humanity.
One of the greatest challenges educators face is helping students understand what it means to be human and express their talents and creativity in ways that honor the humanity in others. We invite all people to participate in the annual ACOBE event to experience what genuine love looks like through various expressions of art and culture within and among Black communities in America.
