2022 Boston Marathon - Project Just Because
Tax deductible
Dear all those who may read this,
My name is Chris Mastroianni and I am extremely thankful to Project Just Because for giving me the opportunity to run the 2022 Boston Marathon! Being from Hopkinton, aka The Start of the Marathon, I have always been enamored by the Marathon and all that it represents. Watching all of the runners go off at the start as a kid and at Mile 21 as a student at Boston College, the Marathon has always maintained a positive presence in my life, and I am overjoyed to be able to run it this April.
Project Just Because runs various programs throughout the year serving the basic needs of families, children, and seniors. These programs include but are not limited to the following year-long programs: Free Grocery Store, Community Closet, Food Pantry, Furniture Network, and Emergency/Domestic Abuse Program; as well as the following seasonal programs: Back to School Program, Keep a Family Warm Program, Thanksgiving Program, and Holiday Gifts Program.
Based in Hopkinton, Project Just Because has been doing life changing work in Massachusetts ever since it’s founding more than 20 years ago. Classified as a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, they impact so many people and I am proud to be running for them.
Project Just Because will soon be building their very own, state-of-the-art facility, a home that they need to expand their programs and deliver their mission for years to come. Funds raised will go towards raising money for this facility, allowing them to expand their reach and broaden their impact. Every donation is very much appreciated, and I hope to see a lot of you on the route on April 18!
