2022 GADs Give Back Philadelphia

REALTORS®, GAD’s and their Associations are champions for homeownership and real property for all, and support efforts to help anyone who can afford it buy their own home. What if you could directly help that effort in the Nation's Cradle of Liberty and host of this year's GAD Institute?

 

The 2022 GADs Give Back will raise funds to support the Philly First Home Program, which provides grants to eligible first-time homebuyers. Help Philadelphia families buy a home and give today!

 

The Philly First Home Program

 

The Philly First Home Program is run by the Philadelphia Housing Development Corporation (PHDC). The agency offers a homebuyer assistance grant of up to $10,000 (or 6% of the home’s purchase price, whichever is lower) to help first-time homebuyers reduce the principal of their mortgage, cover the down payment and loan closing costs.

 

Applicants must be first-time homebuyers, Philadelphia residents, income eligible and complete homeownership counseling through a city-funded housing counseling agency.

 

This great program has helped more than 1,000 buyers in the City of Philadelphia gain a valuable asset that provides them a path to economic security and encourages intergenerational wealth.
