2022 Lambertville BSA Fall - Scouting for Food
Tax deductible
For more than 15 years, Scouts from Lambertville NJ’s Cub Scout Pack 32 and Boy Scout Troop 49 have conducted a Fall Food Drive where we drop yellow bags on your porches, you fill them, we pick up the filled bags the following week, and we drop them at Lambertville’s Delaware Valley Food Pantry (currently located at the Village Square Shopping Center near CVS).
Now with more of our neighbors in need of food than any recent decade, we are still unable to classically Scout the Neighborhood For Food with bags. But we can’t let our neighbors down. So, like everything else, we’ve gone digital! Our last Digital Drive (in 2020) raised more than $2800 dollars or more than 14,000 pounds of food! We missed 2021 because of Hurricane IDA. Let's see if we can beat our 2020 food-raising!
Want to join us in making a difference? We're raising money to benefit Lambertville's own Delaware Valley Food Pantry Inc., and any donation ($1, $10, $100) will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us and our neighbors.
More information about Delaware Valley Food Pantry Inc.: Delaware Valley Food Pantry is the largest and longest-serving food pantry in the Lambertville/New Hope region—feeding families since 1955.
