2022 Monsoon flooding in Pakistan
Donation protected
One-third of Pakistan is underwater.
Pakistan is immensely suffering from the Monsoon flooding: mosquitoes, clean water, food, and shelter. Many families have lost their homes and jobs and are now living on the street. Being from Pakistan and having witnessed the same flooding about 10 years back, I know what it's like.
I want to raise a minimum of $3000 that would help about 50 families who have lost so much and are now struggling to find food and shelter. We hope to provide each family with a package worth 10,000RS (about $60). The packages would include basic food necessities and a mosquito net. I will update this with the exact list of items and their cost within the next few days.
If we surpass our goal, we will provide more than one mosquito net per family and possibly try to reach out to many more families. Please help me reach this goal. Help Pakistan. Share the GoFundMe link and let's get this done! Thank you so much!
I'm Ruth Cook from @RuthConscious on Tiktok. I've been raising funds for widows in Sindh, Pakistan, for over ten years. Ten years ago, when Sindh was facing similar floods, we raised $10,000 to help people eat and rebuild. The people we support are our neighbours in rural Sindh.
