2022 NYU Law Voter Protection Trip to PA
Donation protected
ACS at NYU Law is organizing a voter protection trip to Pennsylvania where students can have a real impact on an election that will prove crucial to the result of the 2024 Presidential election and the outcome of important legislation in the Senate. Already, 65 NYU Law students have signed up as interested in joining the get-out-the-vote and poll watching efforts in Pennsylvania.
We are now fundraising to cover the transportation, housing and food costs for a two-day voter protection trip to Philadelphia. In partnership with Common Cause, a national nonpartisan voter protection organization, NYU Law students will poll watch on election day to help report any improper conduct by officials or outside agitators toward voters. During the 2020 NYU Law Voter Protection trip, NYU students helped ensure people were in the right lines and had what they needed to cast their ballot. Due to their collective efforts, it’s likely that hundreds more people were able to vote.
To support this opportunity for NYU Law students to support democracy and apply their degrees in the “real world”, will your consider donating? We hope to cover costs so that all students are able to attend.
