2022 TEAM USA WORLD BMX CHAMPIONSHIPS for Deegan

We are looking to raise funds to send 10-year-old Deegan Russell to Nantes, France, to represent the United States of America on his BMX bicycle. Deegan Qualified for Worlds in Santa Clara, California, racing the fastest 10 and 11-year-olds in the country, and Nantes France will be his first international race. Mom and dad need your help funding this endeavor.

Deegan (aka The Rocket) started racing BMX at the end of 2019 and quickly developed a racer's skills. While his racing career has been short, his accomplishments have been impressive. He Blew through the Novice, Intermediate and into the expert ranks in his first year of racing.

9th of all racers in OR1 in the district

R.O.C. #1 8 intermediate (Earned the coveted red #1 plate)

2021

3rd of all racers OR1 in district

State Champion 9 expert (Earned blue #1 plate)

Qualified to race UCI World Championships

Many people have commented about Deegan being a natural at BMX, and those statements are far from reality. Deegan has the work ethic and discipline of a champion and an immense love for cycling that continues to propel him through his accomplishments. I can't imagine anybody working harder or inputting more effort than him. Our boy will be a great asset to Team USA.
