2023 AAU BOYS BASKETBALL

Hi my name is Thomas Poe (Coach Thomas), I am fundraising for our 2023 AAU Boys Basketball team here in WA State. I have been coaching/asst. coaching for 2yrs. now. I started coaching for our YMCA boys flag football and YMCA boys basketball all ages between(14-17) After coaching for the YMCA and this last season with basketball, I saw how much some of the boys wanted to still play and further their horizons with basketball and just how much they love this sport and the drive/competitiveness they have. I got a hold of the boys and their parents to see if they wanted to take this chance with me as their coach and, get on the team for AAU basketball. This is my first starting year coaching for AAU Basketball. We have 8 talented players on our team. I wanted to gather these talented, driven, basketball-loving 8 young sir's together after their season is done playing basketball for our local YMCA. My 16 yr old son Thomas lll is also part of the team as well. These boys have so much team chemistry together and want to do the best they can at this. We are hoping to raise some money to be able to compete in the basketball tournaments coming up starting July 24-25 in Marysville,Wa and throughout Washington State this summer/year. I want to help these young sir's reach their dreams, and show everyone how talented they are, just so they can have fun doing something they love and, staying out of trouble! I am trying to raise enough to enter them in the rosters/tournaments and supply of uniforms, and transportation. If we do also raise enough for our team we could make it to nationals in Canada. If anyone could help, we would be immensely grateful for any contributions.
