2023 Florida Law Softball Team

The Florida Law Softball team invites you to support our two-time national championship co-ed team at the 40th UVA Law Softball Invitational, where over 50 law school softball teams across the nation compete and raise money for charity. In previous years, the tournament has raised

donations for the Ready Kids Foundation and UVA Public Interest Law Association (PILA) in excess of $25,000. Both programs provide aid to underserved families and children.

Our team competed for the first time in 2018 and won the co-recreational division that contained over 90 teams from 70 different law schools. We followed that up with another co-recreational division championship again in 2019. We plan on returning to the tournament for the first time

with two teams in April 2023, but we need your help to meet our fundraising goal to get there.

Funds received from our donors help provide uniforms, equipment, transportation, and lodging for the weekend of the UVA Invitational softball tournament. All donations are tax-deductible because we are a 501(c)(3) organization. In addition, corporate or firm sponsors will be eligible

to have their corporate logo placed on our team banner which is displayed on a weekly basis in the courtyard of the University of Florida Law School.
