2023 Giving Back Shoe Drive

Hello there,

My name is Marcos and I was born and raised in San Jose, California. Ever since I can remember, giving back and helping others has always been a part of my life. From a young age, I promised myself to one day give back to the neighborhood I grew up in and help families who may be in need.

Starting June 5th until August 12th I will be raising money for a kids' shoe drive. All of the proceeds will go into buying new pairs of shoes for the students at my former elementary school, Lowell Elementary in downtown San Jose. I did this back in 2019 and was able to raise $2500. This allowed me to purchase 70 pairs of shoes which accounted for almost 25% of the students. I did this again in 2021 and was able to raise close to $4000. This allowed me to purchase 100 pairs of shoes which was about 35% of the students.

This school holds a special place in my heart and providing for these families is what I was put here to do. Please give back to the youth, as they're our future. You can help spread the word by sharing this link and any contributions will be greatly appreciated!
