2023 Medical Brigade in Ghana

Hi, I am a medical student who will be travelling to Ghana with Global Brigades in June 2023. This will be a Medical brigade, and I would really appreciate any support to help reach my fundraising target.
As a volunteer, I will be partaking in the following activities:
- Triage
- Recording vitals
- Shadowing licensed professionals in their consultations
- Malaria testing
- Delivering post-operation care instructions and prescriptions
- Public health education workshops for children in dental care, preventative care and personal health
- Running mobile health clinics
- Managing patient referrals
- Constructing public health projects
- Train to work as community health workers
About Global Brigades
The Global Brigades are a movement of students and medical health professionals that work alongside local communities and staff to implement sustainable health systems in an attempt to deliver medical aid. Their three primary aims are:
- Empowering members of local communities as health workers
- Regular and free access to healthcare
- Sustainable public health education
I would be incredibly grateful for any donations to help support my upcoming volunteering trip.
