2024 Michael & James Horvath Baseball Award

It’s that time of year again! ⚾️ A very lucky Highland Park HS senior will receive an award for excelling in academics & baseball/softball, in honor of my father, Michael Horvath & his brother Jimmy Horvath. This award was created in Jimmy’s name by his teammates after his tragic death at the age of 15. It has been given every year since 1969 and my father’s name was added after his passing in 2018. Friends & family have generously donated over the years & we have been able to award a lucky student athlete with around $1000 each year to use toward their education as they see fit. These are kids work very hard, who can use all the help

they can get to give them support in starting their life after graduation. Highland Park is a small, tight knit community located in Central New Jersey. Both my father & my uncle attended this high school. A high percentage of the students go on to Ivy League universities. Right now finances are tight for everyone and alot of us our struggling. Any amount you can give will be greatly appreciated! Every dollar counts toward keep this tradition going. Thank you so much for your continued love, support & generosity.
