Mizzou Hockey to 2023 ACHA National Championships

Mizzou Hockey has qualified for the American Collegiate Hockey Association National Championship at the Division III level for the first time in program history after concluding the season with a 12-game winning streak to lead them to a MACHA Championship, and a final record of 18-5-1. The 2023 ACHA National Championship will be held in Boston, MA from March 16th to the 21st and the Tigers need your help.

Mizzou Hockey is on the rise and is currently one of the most successful athletic programs this year however, unlike other athletic programs at the university, hockey is a club sport and does not receive the funding that the other programs do. Because of that, the club relies solely on player dues, sponsorships, and donations to fund the entirety of the season every year. The team has prepared week in and week out for the highest-level opponents and has shown why they deserve to be one of the teams to beat at the national level this year. "Boston has been the goal all year and anything short of it is unacceptable. Every week coach asks where we are going to play? and every week its always Boston" said vice president and captain Nick Spolec. The Tigers were able to capture an automatic bid to the 2023 ACHA National Championships after they took down the #1 seed Wash U, the #5 team in the nation Arkansas, and an OT victory in the championship game against Nebraska.

The goal of this campaign is to raise $20,000 to help fund the Tigers on their way to nationals in hopes of returning to Columbia as national champions. The donated funds will go directly to travel expenses for the trip including flights, busses, housing, and all other costs associated with the trip for the players, coaches, and staff. Without funding the hopes of traveling to Boston and more importantly becoming national champions will not be possible.
