2023 NCJA World University Games - Chengdu, China
After two years of postponements, the World University Games is finally happening.
Help support the NCJA athletes attending the 2023 World University Games (WUG) in Chengdu, China. For those unfamiliar with WUG, it rivals the Summer Olympiad and is held every two years. Due to limited funds, the trip is self-funded. All proceeds are distributed to the team. The cost per person is $2550 plus airfare.
The World University Games (WUG) is the American term for “Universiade,” an international multi-sport event organized for university athletes by FISU. The Universiade is an international sporting and cultural festival that is staged every two years in a different city. As an international multi-sport competition, it is only second to the Olympic Games. The Summer Universiade consists of 10 compulsory sports with 13 compulsory disciplines (Basketball - Diving - Fencing - Artistic Gymnastics - Rhythmic Gymnastics - Judo - Soccer - Swimming - Table Tennis - Tennis - Track & Field - Volleyball - Water Polo) and up to three optional sports chosen by the host country.
