2023 People's Food Drive
Donation protected
Please join the "People's Food Drive" for their 12th annual drive. We support the Long Island Council of Churches Food Pantry, whose mission has been to help our local neighbors in need of food since it was established in 1969.
1 in 4 adults on Long Island faced food insecurity.
Approximately 230,000 people on Long Island suffer from food insecurity including 68,000 children. 39% of Long Islanders who receive emergency food or children under 18 years old.
Nearly half, 48%, receiving emergency food assistance are the Working Poor, households that include at least one employed adult.
We all have seen how grocery prices have gone through the roof and this is most devastating to those whose budgets are already strained.
Please show some LOVE to those in need and give them a hand up during these times when they are down.
